Kim Crane
Kim is the Founding Partner and CEO of TFK Australia. Her passion is performance coaching, specializing in working with clients who hold positions of leadership and who strive for excellence.
She has a dramatic effect on both organizational success and individual / team performance. Her ability to support the creation of a strong sense of purpose, clarity of aspiration and focused steps to move forward, is second to none. Kim has been described as "a visionary, with an ability to excite, inspire, and get to source."
Kim's background is such that she spent a large section of her life as a full time athlete, based at the Australian Institute of Sport, where she played with the Australian Women's Hockey Team.
Life after sport saw her heavily involved with her families businesses, both at Bellbrae Health Resort ( Australia's premier holistic lifestyle program ) and Corporate Recharge ( an international business coaching company ). She worked extensively in sales and marketing within the surf/skate/snow and sports related industries, culminating in an opportunity to manage the Australian license of a leading market sector brand.
In 2000, Kim became involved in the journey of the now internationally recognized business coaching company Shirlaws, through her husband Paul, who has been a long standing coach / shareholder. Kim is proud to be part of the Shirlaws family.
Having grown up with a love of the ocean, it is no surprise that Kim's recreational pursuits involve the adrenalin pumping open ocean outrigger canoe paddling where she competes in races, at locations like Hamilton Island (Queensland) and Molokai (Hawaii).Her ‘gentle' ocean time is spent catching waves on her standup paddleboard at her local Northern NSW surf break with friends and family. She still enjoys an involvement in hockey, where she supports her three beloved children's love of the game, by cheering from the sidelines, as well as coaching.
